This one was called "American IPA" on the can. Fairly good IPA, balanced between hops and malt, not overly bitter, Except for the mild grapefruit flavor/hop selection (Citra and Mosaic), this could have been an English IPA. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer foamed up quite a bit as I opened the can, After it settled down, I observed a clear copper color and a medium sized foamy white head with good retention and thick bands of foamy lacing. O subsequent pours, the color seemed darker (more amber) and more hazy. Aroma was mild and piney. Taste included dry biscuity malt and mild bitterness, with a touch of grapefruit along with the piney aspect. Between the biscuity malt and subdied bitterness, it reminded me of an English IPA. Mouthfeel was light with just a little bitterness. Nothing exceptional but a nice break from the onslaught of NEIPAs available!!!

On tap at the brewery.
Middle gold with a decent head.
Primarily citrus aroma and flavor. While not great, the aroma is average American IPA with C hops; grapefruit, hint of pine, some floral.
Watery caramel, thin citrus hops with no depth. The one pleasant point is the grapefruit pith bitterness that does have some backbone.
Light body, medium-brisk carbonation.
This is the worst IPA I’ve had in quite some time. This new brewery has a beautiful location and building, and even good food, but the brewing currently leaves something to be desired based on this and another beer I tried.
