Canned on 1/6/22. 12oz can poured into a tulip.
Pours a hazy golden; small white head that fades leaving decent bubbly retention and lacing.
The aromas have hints of citrus along with some crackers and fresh bread. Some caramel. Malts are there.
The flavors have more citrus along with some tropical notes. Orange, peach and apricot come through. More crackers. More hints of caramel. Solid bitterness. Subtle sweetness. Solid malt backbone. Finishes on the drier side. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed.
Mouthfeel is very nice. It's medium-bodied with active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, spritzy, smooth and slightly fluffy.
This is a pretty solid IPA. It's been many years since I've had a "Cold IPA". Come to think about it I think I've only had one other that was labeled as such. I don't know how to explain it, but this is pretty similar in flavor. Anyways, this is a unique IPA without being flashy. There's something about it that I really like.
