On tap.
A - Medium gold colored pour with nice clarity and a dense white lacing ring.
S - Juicy tropical fruit and citrus dominate the nose.
T - Some grape, tropical fruit, and citrus along with spicy fruit rind. Ends on the sweeter side with a slight bit of booziness.

My son-in-law recently commented that Heart State, located in their old stomping grounds, is doing great things.
This $4.38 16 oz can pours semi-hazy with nice head. The aroma is stench hops. The taste and mouthfeel are more like a regular hazy than anything big. There isn't a huge malt profile that hits you, nor are there too many bitterings. What you do get is well-concealed alcohol and refreshing taste.
Recommended. I liked their regular hazy's better.

16 ounce can, no canning date I noticed on the can or label but pretty sure this was released over the past week or 2. Served in a chalice, the beer pours a somewhat hazy gold color with about an inch or so frothy white head that stuck around a long time. Good amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like grapefruit, mango, tropical fruit and white grapes. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some bready malt. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's slick and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this was a nice overall double IPA, worth a try if you get the chance!
