Bold and brutal of Biblical proportions. A gift from the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar Imperial Pistachio Stout. Ale brewed with almond, pistachio, Phillippino cocoa, and Tahitian vanilla.

I got a 4pck of tall boy cans of this beer from my local beer store located just around the corner. It poured an opaque dark with ecru ring head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had pistachio, vanilla and cocoa notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet Nestlé quick like malt base with pistachio and vanilla presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

16 ounce can, no dating I could find on it but think this was released over the past month or so. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention is good and there's a decent amount of lacing. The brew smells like roasted malt, dark fruit, dark chocolate, nuttiness and some vanilla. For the most part I think the taste is the same as the aroma, but there's also some licorice and burnt/charred malt flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's coating and a bit syrupy with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good imperial stout, doesn't go overboard with the nuts, cocoa and vanilla either. I liked it!
