Ordinarily, I consider adding beers to this site to be a chore, but with this brew it is a privilege. I get to choose the style, too, which is sometimes a chore. Then again, I sometimes take issue with what somebody calls a brew, as you might with my classification.

This pours hazy yellow, but without a horrible funky smell like a New England hazy. The taste is a shocker - Juicy hops taste plus plenty of bittering - a much fuller taste, more like a traditional IPA, but with over the top quantities. The relatively high ABV is deliciously hidden by a mouthful of malts and huge hops.

Highly recommended. Heart State has been brewing some amazing brews. This is one I would want to get again. This 16 oz can had been in my fridge a week, but I think it was very fresh (no date I could see).
