Poured from 440mL can into a stemmed goblet. Best by 9/14/26.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a clear body and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: malt aroma is rather grainy in character. The hops are mild, perhaps a hint of noble grassiness on the nose. Subtle, but nice.
Taste: a combination of sweet and grainy, there’s definitely some astringency here. Hops are a little bit grassy and the bitterness has a moderate bite to it. Good, but not quite as smooth as the style can be.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: not a bad pilsner by any means, and it has the bite to justify the Czech moniker. But it’s just a little bit too astringent for the style, I think.
