Pours a hazy straw with very little head. This bills itself as a NE DIPA. Smell is of course hops- citrusy, piney. It's mild, especially in comparison with the flavor where the hops are big and chewy. Resinous and piney and some citrus too. There's perhaps a little less malt in the background than is typical. And so it tastes a little light and dray for a DIPA. The upside is that this is maybe a little more drinkable than your average beer of this style and strength.
