Unapologetically bold, this black IPA is the brew that started it all - a statement of intent, crafted for those who refuse to blend in

16 oz can at GRR
Poured deep coffee black with a determined beige head that is slow to dissipate and left sheets of lacing on a glass that wasn’t “beer clean”
The taste is malty, warm biscuits and very mild coffee at the sip, the swallow brings the hops to bear; more pine than citrus but both are present. Nice balance yet the hops dominate.
The feel, well, far too easy to drink this in great gulps just to see the lace rings.
OA, if black IPAs are in your wheelhouse, then you should try this.
