Poured with a robust head of floofy light brown foam and a dark reddish brown body. Scent is a porter through and through with slightly bitter notes of dark chocolate and a touch of sweetness (vanilla?). Taste matches with the bitter chocolate winning out and a touch of hop and sweetness helping to keep it from veering off course. Feel is medium bodied with just a touch of effervescence and a nice lingering bitterness. An excellent porter!
