On tap at Brewery Ardennes in Geneva, NY.
This one pours a light caramel brown color, with a fluffy head, and lots of lacing.
Ths smells like toasted bread, clove, incense, caramel, and biscuits.
There's nobody locally making beers like this, and not many breweries even worldwide doing it. There's a nice crisp crackery and biscuity character, with some light spicing, clove, tea, some floral stuff, but there's also also a toasty and caramel-like malt backbone that is really interesting and really tasty.
This is lighter bodied, and very drinkable.
I really enjoyed this one, and it's one of the better beers from this brewery so far.
