16 ounce draft pour into at the brewery.
Nice Brown. Pours clear, is dark brown in the glass with root beer brown highlights, and has a small (due to the pour) khaki head. It does kick up nice with a swirl giving off cola caramel, bread and nutty malt aromas. Flavor is malt forward, caramel, roasted and nutty malt with mild woody hop bitterness standing out at the finish. Mouthfeel is crisp due to the high carbonation but the medium-ish body has a minor creaminess.

Draft pour at the brewery. Pours an attractive chestnut brown color, not opaque. Aroma and flavor feature notes of coffee, cocoa, caramel malt, toasted nuts, and just enough earthy/spicy hops with a hint of resinous bitterness. Marvelously complex and flavorful, yet restrained. Very appropriate for the style - not everything needs to be imperial. Mouthfeel is full-bodied and creamy. Overall an excellent brown ale.
