Served in a goblet at the Church Brew Works. The color was a dark amber, with a wisp of white head. The smell was a candi sweetness on tp of malt. The taste was a nice tartness of the blackberry, with decent candi sugar backing on top of the malt. Mouthfeel was smooth. Drinkability-wise, could definitely have this one all day long!
I'm definitely proud to get 250 karma points on a local beer. Bryan can make a damn good Belgian, and the shame is that I have to wait for special occasions to have a beer as good as this. I would certainly have this beer again, if I ever get the chance to. Here's to CBW, and here's to another 100 years!
