Served in a nonic pint glass. The color was black, with a nice creamy tan head. The smell was a strong coffee roast. The taste was a nice roasted coffee malt, with a strong cafe mocha sweetness. Mouthfeel was very smooth. As for drinkability, the cafe mocha becomes a bit too cloying to have more than a few.
A nice first offering in the Roaster's Rebellion coffee stout series. A rich flavor that is perfect for a pint or two, and certainly one that I'd have again!
