Appearance: Dar ruby brown with a creamy tan head no complaints here only praise so far. Aroma: French roasts were used here very apparent coffee roasts used here and then after that more coffee roasts excellent creamy air about it. Taste: All out coffee plunge in a very amazing way, not complaining the flavor works I must say this is up there with the best of the coffee infused beers I have had some good ones namingly C'est What! coffee porter and the Java Stout from Bell's. Finish has a milky finish this just tastes so good I could have a few of these. Mouthfeel: Incredible silky smooth what a nice brew to sip on. Drinkability: Yep, I need to pickup a growler of this baby, oh so good Church Brew Works is really turning it on with consistency and quality, amen.

Served in a pint glass at CBW. The color was black, with a ring of tan head. The smell was a rich dry roasty coffee. The taste was a fairly dry French roast coffee. Mouthfeel was very smooth. Drinkability, could have a few of these.
The gourmet French roast coffee had just the right amount of dry flavor to make a great coffee stout! Not too cloying to impede drinkability, not overly dry, just right! A fantastic creation from Bryan Pearson and the brewers at CBW, and hopefully this will become a regular offering. Can't wait to see the next coffee blend for the next Roaster!
