Appearance: It has a nice hazy golden/orange color to it. It has a nice thick creamy off-white head that dies down moderately and leaves lovely lacing.

Smell: The aromas definitely give out hints of Belgian yeast, cloves, bready malts, wheat, banana and light coriander.

Taste: Like the aromas, it has some Belgian yeast, cloves, coriander, banana, wheat and bready malts.

Mouthfeel: It has a low carbonation with a nice overall balance and feel.

Drinkability: It's a very smooth drinkable beer accompanied by good flavors and aromas. Quite enjoyable.

Small fizzy head low retention, mostly clear pale orange color

Nose sweet candy malt, reddish caramel toasted malt with candy sugar, fruity esters with citrus, light phenol spices

Taste more sweet candy malt, toffee, caramel, biscuity toffee, candi sugar, toasted malt honey cake, fruity esters with more citrus and little tree fruit bubblegum, light bitterness

Mouth is med to fuller bod, med fizzy carb, light warming carb

Undated bottle at 35 degrees (Siberian Express dropped my cellar temp) into snifter; both allowed to warm to 50 degrees before reviewing
Aroma faint, some banana, clove
Head small (2 cm, aggressive pour), white, frothy, diminishing to 2 mm ring and partial layer
Lacing poor – many tiny islands of tiny bubbles which only make the glass look dirty
Body gold, some initial chill haze which disappears as it warms, light effervescence at all temperatures
Flavor moderately sweet, no yeast phenolics detected, some non-specific fruity esters present; no hops, no alcohol, no diacetyl
Palate medium, creamy, lively carbonation

This was the beer that introduced me to tripels. It was wonderful to drink. But beware the lack of alcohol taste can really sneak up on you. They should have named it The Deacon of Sneakin'
