On tap in Western MA 2/20/06
A - Dark brown with mahogany highlights. Creamy tan head sticks around for awhile and leaves lots 'o sticky lace.
S - Roasty sweet malts and fruity pineapple rind esters, vague scent of beer being brewed. YUM!
T - Sweet carmelized malts at first. The brew drys and displays a little smokiness, before a slightly sweet finish with a hint of dried berries
M - Medium-heavy body. Soft carbonation allows the brew to coat the tongue briefly and fade to the finish.
D - Very interesting and drinkable Wee Heavy.

Very dark amber, almost brown in color. A moderate sized tan head tops the beer. Very sweet malt aroma, with a slight earthy peat note. Taste is again malty-sweet goodness with some alcohol esters evident. A bit of smoky peat creeps in, bringing with it a hint of plums. Mouthfeel is rich and thick, and the drinkability is pretty good for a bigger beer. Another nice offering from CBW.
