Pours an opaque black colour, poured into a wineglass at the Brew Works. Very dark. A bit to much cloyingness for my tastes. It is an outstanding beer in it's own right, but too sweet. Belgian Candi is present. Sweet, tarty plum tastes and scents. My wife loved this one. This one I'll pass on.

Appears a dark brown, nearing opaque when held to the light. The small, creamy, off white head slowly fades out into a gentle cap. Scattered streaks of lacing are left around the glass.
Smell is of rum-infused caramel, molasses, cinnamon, raisin bread, and brown sugar.
Taste is that of the flavors with perhaps a mild dusting of cocoa on top of the raisin bread and a sweet spice of cinnamon sugar.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, sugary, creamy smooth, with a touch of abv noticed in the finish.
