Got a 10oz pour for 4 bucks at a deer lakes pub.
A - Deep amber brown, clear in color with a 1/4 inch of off white head.
S - Smells of light toffee, citrus sweet hops, some bread and maybe some roast. Balanced everything was balanced.
T - I could see how a pint would have been sweet the ABV was well reconciled with levels of sweet caramel/toffee, citrus candy like hops, and a bit of roasted malts.
M - Medium bodied I was impressed.
Overall I would get this again it really was quite a good beer. Tasty stuff.

Ontap at the Brewery.
Appearance: Poured into a 10 oz stemmed tulip. Dark mahogany in color, small off white head.
Smell: Light roasted malt comprises most of the aroma. Toffee.
Taste: Roasted malts, caramel and toffee. As it warms, more of the malt sweetness comes out. A hint of booze but for the most part the 8.5 % is well concealed. In the finish some amarillo type earthy/herbal hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, light to low carbonation. Smooth overall feel.
Overall: An interesting brew. Take Smithwicks, give it steroids, and here you go. Better as it warms for sure.
