On tap and good enough to fill a growler, this beer combines the flavors of a good stout with wonderful fresh 'wet' hops.
After splitting a shipment of fresh hops with East End, the Church brewed up this stout.
Nice dark brown body, tan head.
Smell is full of hops and coffee. Some one hopped up my stout and I like it.
Taste is dark roasted coffee, chocolate and biscuit, with a great hoppy finish.
Mouthfeel is a bit light for a stout, but it still has a nice full body. I'll blame the hops and who can fault those wonderful plants...
Drinkability is good, this is a damn tasty beer, love the creative use of the fresh hops. CBW FTW!
