First had: on tap at their brewpub
Impenetrably murky pour, brownish yellow color with a small white head that didn't stick around too long, but left a bit of lacing on the glass. Crisp wheaty malts in the aroma, fruity esters. Taste was full of rich toasted wheat, banana, sweet peach, clovey spice, nice herbal hoppage, all blended together for an incredibly smooth mouthfeel. Not a trace of bitterness or harsh acidity that I get in many wheat beers. This was one hell of a smooth drink, and went down extremely easily. I could probably spend a whole session drinking this, and I don't think I could say that about any other beers of the style. The lower ABV helps as well.
Easily one of the best wheat beers I've ever had, if not the best. And also the best beer I had at the Church.
