wow! this is excellent!!!
For our second collaboration brewed at Radiant Beer Co, we got creative with one of our favorite coastal California teams. The humans and pups of Topa Topa Brewing Co. share a positive outlook and mission, brew fantastic beers, and also make us laugh just waaaaay too hard. We synchronized our good vibes to create a style defying beer that encompasses many of our favorite things - a hoppy ale, a crisp Kolsch, a dark lager. Am I Even Kölsch? is a DDH lager-ish ale that is very dark in color, while beaming with bright tropical hop notes and well-balanced with assertive bitterness. If you're a fan of black IPAs, this mind meld hits the mark, while keeping the ABV low enough to make it a perfect outdoor adventure companion (or to just come back to for seconds). Saphir, Strata and CTZ Cryo provide plentiful fruit-forward notes of peach, rambutan, a little coconut & biscuit. Roasty malts contribute flavors akin to a shot of extra strength cold brew coffee, with flavors of chicory and chocolate orange shining through.
