Crisp, clear, pale golden body. Easily breezes through the 'can I read the can through the glass' test. Tall topping of white foam. Large bubbles with sticky edges that leave flecks and patterns along the glass as it slowly dissipates (though once it settles in and I get to sipping, it ceases this practice).
Nose is lightly rich pale malts, with grassy and lemony hops sitting lightly over the top. Maybe a hint of honey, and a bit of fruity juice... not quite as sharp-sweet as apple, but coming from that direction.
Flavour begins with very blunt earthy hops. Bone dry. A bit of crackery malts under that, and a finish that is old-world hops (earthy, lightly spicy, lightly herbal side of floral) and pleasantly bitter without getting cloying or overwhelming.
As stated, very dry, somewhat crisp, aggressively carbonated, I could see this one really hitting the spot on a warm afternoon. As it stands, it's in the 30s here, and it's still enjoyable.
Thanks for sending this along, Derek!!
