Desitka svetly vycepni. ''The 10'', the affectionate nickname Czechs give to the country's most popular style. A pale lager with a reasonable alcohol content (3.7%), perfect for long evenings. Aromas of Saaz hops and Bohemian malts, caramel, and a pronounced bitterness: everything we love in a good beer! If you enjoyed Leuven and Poudreuse, this beer is for you.

Single 16 ounce can - purchased at a Beau Dégât in Montreal. No date on can, but am quite sure not super fresh.
Pours a slightly cloudy golden colour with three fingers of foamy dense head with a creamy cap.
Spicy and floral aroma - some bready malts with herbal notes.
Sweet grainy, doughy malt on the palate - hints of caramel - herbal, spicy hops with a firm bitterness.
At 3.7% ABV light body but somehow a decently rich mouthfeel with bright carbonation and a lingering herbal, earthy bitterness.
Really good and I suspect fresh this might well be outstanding. Look forward to having again - perhaps on tap at the brewery.

Can: Poured clear golden color pilsner with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of smooth cereal notes with some herbal and floral hops notes. Taste is also a nice mix of cereal notes with some floral and herbal hops with a dry aftertaste and very limited amount of residual sugar notes.Body is average for style with good carbonation. Super well brewed pilsner with a clean lightly hoppy finish.
