Elegant, pristine, crisp lager bier! Our New Ro Lager is here after 2 months of cold fermenting and aging. This German style pilsner is made with floor malted pilsen from Hudson Valley Malt and Pedersen Farms Hallertau hops for light and floral bitters to balance.
This beer is a special brew for us. Since we started beer production our goal has been to put traditional styles out for you. We hope you enjoy this rebirth of a few distinct historic brands from New Rochelle and Mount Vernon. Long forgotten but once known for bottling plants and lager beer production, New Rochelle's Dutch Hill (West End) supplied Glen Island Theme Park and its beer garden with lagers all summer long. We’re happy to bring back New Ro’s brewing history to you now. Prost!

A: The beer is slightly hazy light yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high bright white head that died down but never completely faded away.
S: Moderate aromas of grassy/spicy hops are present in the smell - lemongrass stands out in particular - along with hints of bready malts.
T: The taste follows the smell, but the flavors of bready malts are a bit stronger and also contribute a bit of sweetness that contrasts with a light to moderate amount of bitterness from the hops.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and very clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This lager was very easy to drink and had nice aromas and flavors of lemongrass.
