Poured from a 350ml stubble .
Pours a good black with a nice mocha head and visible, vigorous carbonation. The smell is of burnt malt and strong coffee. The taste is charred malt with a strong acidity , a decent bitterness comes later but overall there's no depth. The mouthfeel is, understandably, watery and highly carbonated. Overall, disappointing. The price ( very spendy for a single stubble) raised expectations and the smell reinforced them but this beer simply didn't come close to meeting them when it came to the taste. It looks the part and the bitterness is pleasant enough but it's overly acidic, watery and one dimensional.
