Bought on a short trip to Germany.
0,5 l bottle, a gusher, a big beige head, creamy, quite cloudy after a good pour. Hell not hell.
Smell of lots of clove, a little bit of banana.
Taste malty sweetness. It's got the clove and banana in the background.
Smooth mouthfeel makes the flavour linger a bit.
Overall this is a good weissbier. Very traditional.

Poured into a Unibroue tulip from a 500ml bottle. Thanks to my friend Dallas for bringing this one back from Bavaria. Moderate, off-white head atop an unfiltered hazy golden body. All sorts of banana, clove and wheaty malts on the aroma. Taste is very traditional and authentic and delicious. Couldn't ask for anything more in a German hefe. I believe in German, the bottle states that this brewery is privately owned and has been around since 1630. That makes sense because this hefe is damn good. I don't think you can make bad beer for 400 years. Amazing to derive this flavors from just the 4 basic beer ingredients.
