Had The Jeffrey at Hop Atomica, Savannah, on draft into modern HA logo pilstulpe.
Pours light straw-gold with clarity, and a minimal near-white head, which doesn't last and leaves no lace. Light fruity aroma to start, but unwelcome funk as warms. On tasting, carbonation bite up front, then sweet fruit and funk akin to the aroma, before a crisp finish.
Looks a German pilsner for a hot second or two, and it's crisp start to finish, but funk overwhelms any malt presence.
