Poured from a 473ml can.
West Coast style IPA I liked this beer taste had tropical notes to it with a nice hop finish. Above average for sure.

Slightly hazy tan color. Poured a medium head that collapsed to a thin skiff after a couple of minutes. Extremely low flow of tiny bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. Left very small patches of lace.
Strong scents of citrus and medium roasted malt. Some lighter scent of non-citrus fruits; not distinct enough to figure out what they were. Some light mint scent. A bit of yeast funk. Swirling the glass kicked up a barnyard that quickly faded away.
The flavor flips the fruit dominance so the citrus is milder and the other fruit is stronger. Mostly tropical flavors with a bit of cherry and some dried apple. Some strong hops and medium-strong bitters. The malts show up as a base, like a strong flavored dark bread under even stronger jam. The aftertaste pops up a strong barnyard for a few seconds, to be replaced with the hoppy bitters.
Some tongue tingling as it foams up to medium sized bubbles. Medium body. Slightly astringent with the aftertaste.
Above average for the style, but the barnyard in the aftertaste came as an unwelcome surprise. Tone that down or eliminate it entirely and this would be much better.
