375 mL bottle. Deep brown with a khaki head. Smells of nutty malts, some earthy hops, light wine. Tastes very nutty with lots of bready malt. Some red wine adds acidity and hops lend earthy bitterness. Lingering port flavor. Medium heavy. A beautifully balanced beer. The barrel is subtle and adds a nice dimension.
