12 fl oz pull-tab can:
$10.10 USD plus tax per sixer of 12 fl oz cans.
6% ABV. "Stout."
A biteen metallic. Chocolate malt. Dark malts. Not getting any roasted barley/carafa character.
Not a great stout - or even a competent one.
Low C- / BELOW AVERAGE

12oz can, wine glass, no freshness dating.
Dark brown with obsidian highlights and just a swirl of rapidly dissipating khaki bubbles.
Molasses, Graham cracker, light char.
A rush of molasses and caramel brownie sweetness turns sour and acrid. Not much bitterness and no hop flavor evident. The aftertaste is really quite objectionable; a sour cardboard.
Thin, low carbonation, sort of dry.
I’d guess this is mediocre beer that is also old, however who knows, because there is no date on the can.

Pours a scarlet tinged mahogany with much effervescence with 2 fingers of rocky tan head.
S: Iron, a little roastyness, some dark cherry & fig notes once warm
T: Follows the nose, fairly dry with a little nutttyness that would work better in a brown ale, but also some roastyness. Mostly dryness and roastyness as this warms, plus a little vanilla sweetness, not much as this warms. Finishes roasty and dry with a little iron & charred grain & a little out of place nuttyness
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation
Not bad, but pretty middle of the road for the style, drinks easy enough
