12oz can, Duvel tulip, no freshness date.
Mid-amber with very little head. It’s also practically mid-hazy.
Creamy, layers of Pilsner and maybe Vienna malt or caramel malt, or maybe it’s just diacetyl. Steam beer? It’s smells and tastes like it was fermented too warm.
Yep, diacetyl. It tries to eke something out with moderate bitterness.
Low-moderate carbonation, kind of creamy.
Not to style at all.

Picked this up at Bayman Liquor in Cotter, Arkansas not too long ago when I was passing through, as I never had anything from Norfork before. Yeah, I was drawn to the label and the notion that this would be an enjoyable Pilsner worth of the Natural State but for some reason, this never fully clicked with me. No, it wasn't a drain pour but this was a bit disappointing and possibly categorized incorrectly on here as it didn't seem like a true take on the style.
No doubt that this beer's appearance was it's best attribute, as the honey-hued liquid was topped off by a nice head, had some streams of bubbles coming up through it, and left behind thick, well-defined rings of lacing as I worked my way through it. Grass, medicine, syrup, and some mineral water were both in the nose and taste as this was quite bland, heavy-handed, and sticky, but not in a good way as this felt like it had too much gluten in it. I don't know what I'd put this under but a German Pilsner would *not* be my first choice if I was adding this beer onto here.
No residue in the liquid, no date on the can, and hint of freshness or booze as this was as generic as anything I've reviewed on here in quite some time. I never drain pour beer but this wasn't as good as anything from Flyway or Lost Forty, when it came to Granite State offerings. Expected much more out of this, even for a lighter style...

12 oz can, no date, into Parish Shaker.
Purchased a single can on a whim in Fayetteville, AR.
Deep dark gold with a cap of 2 fingers. Light lacing as it recedes. A bit too dark and hazy for a pilsner of any kind.
Aroma from the can is Ricola honey lozenges and/or throat spray and some melon-y hops. Aroma from the glass is dry straw and bread.
Flavor is honey, lemon, hot garbage, butter, cherry, and throat spray. They tried.
Feel is carbonated with a sticky finish.
Overall, it's a disaster, and has entirely too much caramel malt for a pilsner. Also, DMS. It really feels and tastes medicinal, and that's something I think most people like to avoid at all costs unless they're under the weather.
If you're a throat spray purist, give this one a shot.

Pours an effervescent and bright gold with a thumb+ of eggshell colored head. Traces of head retention & zero lacing
S: Bready, grassy, soapy
T: Grassy, some lime, doughyness and an overpowering soapyness that really doesn't work for me up front. Sweet doughyness a little bit of glue/paste-like flavor. Finishes dry with some grassy & soapy bitterness and more cloying sweetness & paste taste
MF Medium body, delicate carbonation, terrible balance
Easily one of the worst beers I've have had in a while, no freshness dating, so who knows how that factors in? Didn't seem to be an issue with the other cans I tried yesterday from this brewery. Got slightly more drinkable once warm, but ended drain pouring about half of it. The only way I would try this again would be some sort pf free taster or sample
