On tap at Crow & Wolf Brewing
A: Pours dark brown basically black with a frothy khaki head that settles to light layer and laces nicely.
S: Roasty, earthy, a little char, faintly smokey, fresh coffee, a little milk chocolate, vanilla, and a little toffee sweetness.
T: Roasty, light char, milk chocolate, fresh coffee, earthy, faint smoke, nice hit of vanilla, and a little toffee.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, creamy smooth.
O: This is such a breath of fresh air after a couple disappointing coffee stouts. Coffee is assertive but balanced with the chocolate and vanilla. I'd happily start my weekend morning with this one.
