On tap at Crow & Wolf
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Dank herbal notes, exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, citrus,
T: Exotic, tropical, and stone fruit, gooseberry, white grape, pineapple, passion fruit, apricot, and guava, dank herbal notes, resinous pine, citrus, lemon and tangerine, a touch grassy, biscuity slight bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: A bit on the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: 1852 kinda came out of nowhere in my neck of the woods to bring home GABF gold so I had to see how this collab came out. Really really solid. Hop combo works really well. Nelson gets to shine while the Simcoe and Mosaic add some really nice depth.
