Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden amber with a frothy cream white head that settles to a thin layer before disappearing and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Tropical and stone fruit, citrus, grassy herbal notes, resinous pine, bready malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Resinous pine, citrus, grapefruit, lemon, and orange, grassy herbal slightly earthy notes, tropical and stone fruit, peach, apricot, passion fruit, pineapple, melon, and a hint of guava, faint floral notes, bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: A little on the fuller side of medium body, mild the moderate carbonation, knocking on the door of syrupy, but not quite there.
O: Drinks like a classic West Coast DIPA, but that's not entirely a good thing. The nose and flavor are fine (nothing special), but the body felt like it could use a bit more carbonation to brighten it up, and I'd love to see some better lacing. I'm whelmed by this one, was definitely hoping for better.
