A similar recipe we brewed for our wedding beer, this Citra IPA uses Nugget, Mosaic and, of course, Citra hops! A clean, crisp, West Coast IPA if that’s what you’re craving.

12 oz can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson, SC ($2.39).
Appearance. Hazy amber colored body with an excellent, very durable white head.
Citrus and herbal notes dominate the aroma. Tastes marginally better than it smells, and different from what I initially expected when i thought this was a single hop IPA. .. then I saw it has Citra plus 2 other hop varieties.
Mild for the style. Drinks more like a pale ale than an IPA.

Has little black floaters in the glass, smells like an IPA, overly bitter in taste, I didn’t care for it.
