An updated recipe from our original West Coast IPA. Brewed with Mosaic, Citra and Simcoe hops. This IPA has the exotic, fruit laden, floral bouquet of citrus and pine you would expect from a Westie.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a light layer and laces nicely.
S: Lively mix of ripe citrus with resinous pine, underlying tropical and stone fruit, floral notes, subtle grassy herbal slightly dank notes, bready malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: First hit is resinous pine and grassy slightly dank herbal notes, followed by ripe citrus, grapefruit, lemon, and orange, fairly floral, underlying tropical and stone fruit, mango, papaya, peach, apricot, melon, and faint passion fruit, bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness, with a somewhat dry finish.
M: Medium body, somewhat soft to moderate carbonation.
O: Really well done Westy. Nicely balanced, brings all the classic flavors, with enough bitterness to let you know what it is, yet still remain super drinkable. I think bumping up the carbonation just a touch would be the only tweak I'd make.
