Double Black Rye IPA
Roasty, dark malts dance with the spiciness of the rye malt. Super complex, full bodied and rich in flavor. Citra and Amarillo Hops compliment the spicy and floral notes this brew has to offer.

On tap at Machinehead Brewing
A: Pours basically black with a frothy khaki head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little thin lacing.
S: Roasty, rye spice, pine, earthy herbal notes, espresso and chocolate, light citrus, slightly floral, faint fruity notes, and a little toffee sweetness.
T: Roasty, chocolate and espresso, resinous pine, earthy herbal notes, peppery rye spice, citrus, grapefruit and orange, faint fruity notes, mango, passion fruit, apricot, and peach, and a little toffee sweetness.
M: On the full side of medium body, moderate carbonation, slightly creamy.
O: If there's a black IPA on the board I'm probably gonna try it. I dig it. Pretty smooth. Rye provides some nice depth. I'd definitely drink this one again.
