Presentation: 750mL brown bottle with a "best before" date printed on the back. Served in an oversized wine glass.
Appearance: The fluffy, bone white, two finger head stays around for a while and leaves behind a a thin foam ring and a lot of lacing that covers the whole glass in small spots. It's a beautiful, clear, bright, shiny copper color.
Smell: It's a sweet smell of caramel, brown sugar and cherries followed by some clove and a hint of alcohol.
Taste: It's very malty but not overly sweet with some fruitiness in there as well. The notes are mainly caramel covered red apple, orange and brown sugar. It finishes with a soft, slightly sour flavor.
Mouthfeel: It's medium bodied, creamy and and quite dry. Carbonation is medium.
Overall: While not as stunning as its quadrupel Alliance sister beer, this is still very good. There's a good balance between the fruity notes and warmer sweetness that make it very enjoyable to drink.
