No date stamp on this can, or the others. I did have one earlier and I thought I saw a bottle code on it, but it’s out with the recycling now.
This is a foam bomb! I cracked open the can and it started to foam up. First pour was all foam as well. It’s not like I haven’t had this experience before, but this Wayfinder is listed as a NA IPA, not an alcohol free Orval.
So, the slow pour and some patience, and eventually I emptied the can.
The beer itself has a good deal of sediment, and I’m wondering if this has anything to do with its volatility. Great head retention, as the second photo shows, although the foam itself has a gloppy, less than appealing tan-tinged appearance.
It could be the (unknown) age on this, but the aroma falls squarely into the spent grain/worty category. I am straining for any hoppiness on the nose.
The sip follows, although there is a bitterness on the end.
Ultimately, this isn’t clicking with me tonight.

Canned 2021/05/31
Pours a very large fizzy soda like head with med lower retention, very carbonated, semi hazy amber color
Nose floral fruity hops, little Cascadian like spicy piney note, light herbal tea and toasted malt
Taste light grainy toasted copper malt, slight metallic note, fair hops herbal tea, floral, fruity, hint of pine again, some tree fruit, light bitterness, dry finish with med to highest spicy hop bitterness
Mouth is med bod, high distracting carb
Overall pretty good, a bit too carbonated but probably age

Extremely fresh--a week after canning. Pours clear, tan in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is pine, toasted malt, and earthy hops. Med body, moderate carbonation, bitter. More of a west coast style non alcoholic ipa. Good, especially for non alcoholic beer but way prefer Kora.
