Poured a brownish-black body with minimal head and lace. Smells like coffee and maple syrup (like maybe some poured syrup in their cup of coffee). Thick body, not too sticky, has a coffee dryness with a vanilla undertone and then finishes with a sticky, maple syrup sweetness. Seemed a little offkilter with the flavor sensations in an unexpected order but still an enjoyable beer.
