Karen's got nothing on us. We're busting out the Uggs and yoga pants and getting ready to wreck your next PTA meeting. Pumpkin: check. Spice: double-check. Coffee: for days, but that ain't it. Maple syrup + dark brown sugar + vanilla bean = testing your old flame at 2AM for some 'Netflix and Chill'. Bad decisions are tomorrow's problems; grab your selfie stick and get in here, betch.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown with little light transmission in the glass and a fine, half finger khaki head with great retention and solid lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, drip coffee, cocoa and light vanilla. Not getting any pumpkin or maple syrup. Flavor is dark toasted malt with light char, strong coffee, vanilla, pumpkin pie spices, but not much pumpkin. Somewhat astringent spicy finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. I thought the idea of a pumpkin stout would scratch two itches at the same time. And this has lots of coffee, but I'm really not getting any pumpkin/squash flavor, nor the maple syrup. The stout profile leans to a dry or import stout and is nice tasting and there is strong coffee character. A bit unbalanced, but kind of a cool idea if it had pumkin pie flavors. Satisfactory for a coffee dry stout. Looks and feels great.
