Stout conditioned on coconut and a blend of Indonesian and Sumatran coffee from our good friends at Harry and Beans Coffee. Rich and decadent enough with a nose jumping with rich silky mocha drenched in coconut creamer (there is no lactose in this beer), and a taste that follows suit in the form of a rich morning coffee that you may have tried to shove too many milk chocolate mounds bars into.

It immediately erupted in an aggressive, tan head that crested the rim of the glass. Considering there was coconut in this, I was a bit concerned that this can would be.. off. Let’s see.
Aroma immediately reminds me of Double Shot from Tree House. Huge dark chocolate and dark roast coffee notes. Sweet, gentle roasted malts, and slight nuttiness. Getting zero coconut on the aroma.. Not surprised, as the size of the head indicates no coconut presence at all.
Flavors are very balanced, with a touch of sweetness from the toasted malt, and huge latte flavors. Like, a coffee with honey and a ton of foamy milk added. Finishes with a bitterness that balance our that latte sweetness, but still missing the coconut. Might have made it too sweet, though.
Mouthfeel is like silk. The carbonation provides a super creamy feeling on the palate, that just fills your mouth with flavor. Bitterness provides a slight dryness on your tongue. Really nice.
