Brewed with rice and malt. Expect clean, dry and refreshing with ginger hints of lemon grass. Best paired with sushi and seafood. The name translates to "the floating world" living in the moment, detached from the bothers of life.

Crystal clear, light gold hued body; decent carbonation; nice head, white and soapy appearance. Fresh floral scent; fine cracker-like malt element. Herbal kind of taste right off, finishing with a light phenol-like bitterness; grass; very subtle stone fruit esters. Medium body; smooth and silky on the palate; light juiciness ending with a softy dry edge.
Generally a nice beer with a great lager smoothness. The taste is interesting, a bit low-key but delivering some subtle depth of character. The lightly astringent bitterness detracts from an otherwise well-rounded flavor.
Pouring temperature: 44 °F: canning info: 05/23/22
