Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. No date on can. The brewer just calls this an IPA, but I added it as a NEIPA because of its characteristics.
Appearance: thickly hazy medium orange hue with a head of ivory foam that leaves a thick and chunky lace on the glass. Great!
Smell: a little bit dank and piney, a little bit passionfruity, and quite juicy. While this beer is definitely sweet, it’s not TOO sweet, which is important to me. I like it a lot.
Taste: sweeter than the aroma, but still quite palatable; the dank is still there and the tropical flavors come through as well, maybe with a little bit of peach, and less pine than the aroma. Really good.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a really solid hazy IPA. Definitely gonna have to check out more from Heavy Reel.
