On tap at Birreria Volo in Toronto, Ontario.
The side pulled pour looks beautiful in the glass – glimmering golden yellow, with a fluffy white head, and lots of lacing.
This smells slightly crackery and bready, with lemony hops sprinkled with some light spicing.
I love Italian-style pilsners, and this scratches that constant itch. There’s a lot of spicy and lemony hop character – fresh cut grass, lemon peel, and a slight peppery note, along with a crisp, crusty, and bready malt backbone.
This is light bodied, clean, and super crisp, with a wonderful drinkability.
