473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. Durand purchase. Listed as a Nelson Sauvin DIPA. Canned August 1, 2023.
Appearance - Hazy golden brew with lots of turbidity. Very hazy and accents of white and gold. Two fingers of loose but rocky white head rest on top and pretty great staying power.
Smell - White grape, some melon, a touch of weediness in the background. Very inviting combo.
Taste - Some white grape up front, lots of melon and cantaloupe. Depth of flavor fades away quick with a more bitter aftertaste and some hop oils linger on well afterwards.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied, lower than average carbonation crushable with well hidden booze and a slight astringency afterwards.
Overall - Not a perfect DIPA, but with he Nelson Sauvin hops and flavors, it's really easy to drink and eminently enjoyable.
