Review from notes. Served cold on tap into a tulip at The Brain.
Appearance - Super hazy, yellowy gold beer. Small half finger of white head on top that stays for around for a bit coalescing with a small soapy top.
Smell - Lots of sauvin hops. Light leafy citrus, faint grape aroma. Subdued nose when cold and opens up some as it warms.
Taste - Intense leafy hops with some grapes, mild bitterness. ABV absurdly well disguised until the finish.
Mouthfeel - Full bodied and low carbonation. A sipper for sure. Not much booziness here either. Nice warming in the back of the throat and stomach though. Juicier than expected.
Overall - Pretty damn solid Quad IPA with very well disguised ABV. The Nelson Sauvin hops shine through here and remind why it is one of the very best hops out there.
