Our Helles has a golden color and a well-balanced aroma between the noble malts and hops of German origin used in the recipe. On the palate, you can see the profile of floral hops, bread and a slight sweetness.

Pours med larger foamy head with med retention, a bit of soapy lacing, mostly clear slight chill med tan straw color
Nose is unique, a malt than I'm used to, it has the grainy sweet doughy pilsner malt but also an earthy almost extract character, then very earthy hops like English style, soft cereal grain
Taste sweet, fair cereal grain, a bit of pilsner grainy sweet malt, but lots of sweet cracker and malt syrup extract, more of the herbal earthy extract thing almost like corn syrup impurities, fair hops but very earthy herbal, forest floor and woodsy, with vegetal flora, med lighter bitterness, decent lagering, drier finish getting a little astringent, quite bitter with spicy earthy hops
Mouth is med bod,med to higher foamy carb, soft lager, a bit astringent
Overall it's not terrible, not quite a helles as almost everything is wrong, but I don't expect then to get fresh and correct ingredients around here, although hops could use a bit of balance and recipe change, but the lager was decent
