L- Mid amber, poured with a slight haze and 5mm fine-bubble off-white head. ps Holds well.
S- It has a deep-timber scent to it, something that can appear in Belgian style beers. I served this straight from the fridge, but I suspect the smell would be more prominent if it weren't hard-chilled.
T- Very Belgian, very Blond, subtle hints of spice.
F- Despite being well chilled I can still clearly sense there is good richness here. Put another way, it's feel meatier than many other Blonde's I had.
O- I like it. Nothing obviously out of place or balance, no facets that don't work (it's trad style). Finally after giving it 10mins to warm a bit I get the first showing for the Blonde ester/fruit note. A nice beer, don't serve over-chilled, that's my tip!
330ml bottle £3.95 BB: March-2022/Batch 8. Bought from BeautfulBeers/BurySt.Edmunds as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.
