Review from old notes taken during last years event at the Lancaster location. The brew appears brown in color with a tan head that boasts a creamy head.
The aroma is herbal and tangy with a fruit inclusion that doesnt quite say cherry to me. The taste is tart and fruity with a little earth and leather. Some chocolate and dusty grain inclusion overtop cherry. Plenty of wild notes in the aftertaste.
This is medium bodied and modestly carbonated. Perhaps the most mature and balanced tasting of all the offerings I got to sample during the event. Interesting and drinkable enough that I would order this again.
